School Meals
Paying for school meals
School lunches cost £2.60 per day, £13 for a full week.
Meals should be paid for in advance using Arbor. If parents wish, they can pay half a term or a term ahead.
Free School Meals
As from September 2014, all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to receive a free school lunch. All parents can opt for children to have a hot meal whenever they wish; the weekly menus can be viewed using the link at the top of the page.
For pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 you can register for Free School Meals if you receive any of the following benefits:
Income Support; Job Seekers Allowance; Income Based Employment and Support Allowance; Income Related Support under part V1 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, Child Tax Credit, provided you are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual income that does not exceed £16,190.
Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
By registering for free school meals you also benefit your child’s school, as we will receive extra funding called ‘Pupil Premium’. This helps provide direct subsidies for less well-off families, and extra facilities that can benefit all children, so if you feel that you might qualify, even if your child is already receiving a free lunch under the Government’s Key Stage 1 scheme, please do apply.
